I’m so excited that my Dora cake topper is off on an adventure to Hong Kong!
It’s always exciting to work on something new, something I’ve not done before so I was looking forward to begin work on this cake. With it’s colourful and interesting characters, this Jake and the Neverland Pirates cake was one of those cakes on my “have to do” list. Who can resist trying to create Captain Hook and all the other interesting animations in sugar!
On top of all this, after the pirate themed celebration ended, mummy Jaclyn shared the lovely pictures of the celebration with me. With the venue decorated with pirate ships, hats, anchors and creatures of the sea ,together with kiddies dressed up as pirates ,it was a complete pirate party. Such a lovely family….. a really sweet experience:-)
It’s been a season of reunions these past few weeks. Catching up and reminiscing with old friends. Made this cake for one such gathering and spent the afternoon amongst great company , feasting on good food.( all thanks to our hostess with the mostest , Anisa)
This was one fun boys party complete with targets, lots of nerf guns and enough ammunition to cause serious damage!
I had so much fun creating these display cakes for the Ergos Kitchen Roadshow by Mudian Crafted. The Ergos Kitchen is built on the concept of modular systems where one module can be easily fitted with another or used on its own. So my design is based on a “system” of cakes to create a whole look. To further build on the modular concept, the design on all the cakes start with a single unit – the triangle .
If I had to choose one word to describe my dad, I would say….kind. Dad has the softest of hearts, something we kids took full advantage of growing up …. getting away with almost anything. Dad hardly scolded and I will always remember him apologising to me for having given me a huge scolding.
Thankfully, I do not have to describe him in just one word because Dad is also a loving, humorous, patient ,wise, devoted, fun and caring father.
